Mac · iPhone · runs on your own Claude

An AI job-application assistant. You stay in control.

Tell Tenvy what you're looking for. It finds roles on employers' own job boards, fills in applications in a browser you can watch, and in Review mode (the default) waits for your OK before anything is submitted. It uses only facts you've confirmed and shows where every answer came from.

Tenvy for MacDownload 0.1.6 · Apple silicon, macOS 15+Tenvy for iPhoneComing to the App Store

Coming soon. The iPhone app is coming to the App Store. No Tenvy account or subscription, but the AI isn't free: on Mac it runs on your paid Claude plan, and on iPhone Anthropic bills your own API key for what you use.

To install: download, then drag Tenvy to Applications and open it. Needs Claude Code signed in with a paid Claude plan (Pro or Max); usage counts toward it. Tenvy is free; the AI isn't. Optional: check it downloaded correctly with shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/Tenvy-0.1.6.dmg, which should print a996629be19a32148e96e622ca1aeabc1b7bff52a7fcba6fc02c2c012f776edc.

Tenvy for Mac and iPhone: it fills a job application in a browser you can watch, then waits for your review before submitting. Fictional applicant on Tenvy's test page.

01 Two ways to run it

Mac

Runs on the Claude Code you already have, signed in with your own Claude account.

  • No API key or Tenvy account to set up.
  • Usage counts toward your own Claude plan (Claude Code needs a paid plan, such as Pro or Max).
  • A notarized download, not the Mac App Store: the App Store sandbox can't launch Claude Code.
  • Apple silicon, macOS 15 or later, with Claude Code installed.

Download for Mac (0.1.6)

iPhone

Bring your own Anthropic API key, created in the Claude Console at platform.claude.com.

  • No Tenvy account; Anthropic bills your API usage directly.
  • A Claude Pro or Max subscription doesn't cover API usage.
  • Your key stays in the iPhone Keychain and is sent only to Anthropic.
  • Spending estimates and a daily alert you set. iOS 17 or later.

Coming to the App Store

02 What it does

Finds roles where employers post them

Employer job boards like Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby, and companies' own careers pages. You watch the search happen live in the browser.

Fills applications in a browser you can watch

On iPhone it's a live split view: the application above, Tenvy's progress below. Take control of the browser any time to log in or fix a field, then hand it back.

Uses only facts you've confirmed

Tenvy never invents an answer. It can suggest one (for example, finding your public LinkedIn) for you to confirm first, and every answer shows where it came from.

You press Submit

Review mode is the default: nothing is submitted until you tap Submit. Auto mode is optional, asks you to confirm before it turns on, submits when its checks pass and stops only for questions.

Picks the right résumé

Keep several résumés named by role. Tenvy picks the best fit for each job and tells you which one it used.

Keeps evidence

Every application is tracked with its answers, a timeline, and the confirmation page as evidence. It also stops on postings that say they don't accept AI-assisted applications.

A submitted application in Tenvy: Forward Deployed Engineer at Contoso, with each answer labelled Why this answer, such as Your confirmed facts, or You confirmed this (suggested from a web search) for the LinkedIn URL, followed by a timeline of each step.
Every answer shows where it came from, with a timeline of each step. Fictional applicant.

03 Where your data goes

Tenvy
no account and no server. We never receive your data.
your device
your résumés, confirmed facts, saved answers, applications and their history are stored here.
Anthropic (Claude)
through your own account, it receives what the agent needs: your messages, résumé text, confirmed facts, the job pages and screenshots it reads, your answers, and the web searches it runs.
job sites
receive what you submit to them.

Anthropic handles what it receives under its own privacy policy and terms. Read Tenvy's privacy policy for the details.

04 Questions

Is Tenvy free?

Tenvy itself costs nothing, and there's no Tenvy account or subscription. The AI isn't free: you pay Anthropic for what you use. On Mac, Tenvy runs through Claude Code, which needs a paid Claude plan such as Pro or Max. On iPhone, Anthropic bills your own API key directly.

Can Claude apply to jobs for me?

Tenvy is an app that uses Claude to do it. Tell it what you're looking for and it finds roles on employers' job boards, then fills in each application in a browser you can watch. On Mac it runs through your own Claude Code; on iPhone, through your own Anthropic API key. In Review mode, the default, nothing is submitted until you tap Submit.

Mac: do I need an API key?

No. Tenvy for Mac uses the Claude Code you already have, with your own Claude sign-in. Usage counts toward your Claude plan.

iPhone: why do I need an API key?

iPhone apps can't run Claude Code, so Tenvy talks to Anthropic's API with your own key. You create it in the Claude Console at platform.claude.com and add credit there. A Claude Pro or Max subscription doesn't pay for API usage.

How much does it cost on iPhone?

It depends on how long the forms are: typically a few cents to a few tens of cents per application with the default model. Tenvy shows its estimate and pauses at a daily alert you set. Your Claude Console bill is the real number, and you can set a hard spend limit there.

Is my key safe?

It's stored only in your iPhone's Keychain and sent only to Anthropic. Tenvy has no server. You can delete it in Settings at any time.

Does Tenvy apply without asking me?

Not by default. In Review mode nothing is submitted until you tap Submit. Auto mode is optional and asks you to confirm before it turns on; it then submits when its checks pass and stops only for questions. You can take control of the browser at any time.

Will it make things up on my applications?

No. Tenvy uses only facts you've confirmed. When it can suggest an answer, such as finding your public LinkedIn, it asks you to confirm it first, and every answer shows where it came from.

Which sites does it work with?

Employer job boards like Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby, and employers' own careers pages. Some sites forbid automated tools; Tenvy stops on postings that say they don't accept AI-assisted applications, and you can always apply by hand.

Where does my data go?

There's no Tenvy account and no Tenvy server. Your résumés, confirmed facts, answers and applications are stored on your device. The AI is Claude, by Anthropic, which receives what Tenvy needs through your own account (your messages, résumé text, confirmed facts, the job pages and screenshots it reads, your answers and web searches). The job sites receive what you submit.

What does it run on?

iPhone: iOS 17 or later. Apple silicon Mac: macOS 15 or later, with Claude Code installed and signed in to a paid Claude plan. The iPhone app is coming to the App Store.

Does Tenvy work offline?

No. Tenvy needs an internet connection to reach Anthropic and the job sites.

How do I update or uninstall Tenvy on Mac?

To update: download the new version and drag it over the old one in Applications. To uninstall: the ⋯ menu → Delete all my Tenvy data, then drag Tenvy to the Trash.

How do I delete my data?

iPhone: Settings → Delete all my Tenvy data. Mac: the ⋯ menu → Delete all my Tenvy data. Tenvy has no server, so it keeps nothing anywhere else. For anything Anthropic holds, see Anthropic's privacy policy.
